Our primary goal is to enable the lives of physically challenged individuals by enabling all individuals in the United States and the world to access the proper prosthesis care and equipment, while advancing prosthetic technology and improving the support systems for their long term care.
From a global perspective, we seek to enhance the well-being of thousands of physically challenged people in impoverished countries by guaranteeing that they have access to their rights and conditions for socio-economic reintegration. We seek to improve their health, self esteem, livelihoods and family social conditions by:
- Securing proper prosthesis equipment and long term prosthesis care
- Supporting the manufacture, fitting and maintenance of prosthetics in the local community
- Creating state-of-the-art Prosthetic and Orthotic centers for research to connect specified countries with affiliates across the globe
- Delivering in-country speaking engagements and programs to promote rehabilitative fitness training and events.
In support of world class university research programs and international Prosthetic and Orthotic organizations, we seek to invest resources toward connecting research, facilities and medical care affiliates within the US and around the globe. We will seek funds to study and advance:
- Digital motion capture systems
- Advanced cycling systems
- State of the art training systems
- Resources for sustained research.
Working with a re-known university research program, we seek to invest resources toward a new state-of-the-art center that provides a living laboratory for research and act as the hub to connect P&O researchers and medical facility affiliates across the globe.
The center will also be the “launching pad” for many physically challenged individuals by providing the necessary information and physical training facility and programs for beginning their new active lifestyle.
